MARISHKA

This beautiful little panther was found in Stirling, very thin and very pregnant. After arriving at LCCR she went directly to a loving foster home where she gave birth to her babies. Here is what her foster mama has to say about her...

Marishka is a shy girl who is starting to come out of her shell! She has begun venturing out of her room a little bit at a time and is starting to come and sit beside us when the house is quiet. When she first came to us, she was on a few medications so her initial experience with humans meant yucky stuff being put in her mouth!! Now that she is all healed and there are no medications, she is realizing we aren't that bad after all!

Marishka enjoys pets, especially around her ears and chin. She is becoming more playful as she gets more comfortable, zooming around her safe places with a spring or her kittens. She is also getting more talkative when she is playing or when she first sees us in the morning.

Marishka takes a little while to trust new people and is startled by loud noises but is not at all aggressive.

Marishka would do best in a home with some feline companions and would likely be okay with a calm dog.
