CHIKARA

This sweet girl was rescued from a horrific situation in Picture Butte. She was abused and tortured alongside other cats in the home they shared. Because of her history, her adopter will be rigorously vetted before approval.

When people first meet Chikara, they usually fall in love. She is absolutely adorable and so incredibly loving. She usually comes up to say hello and will always accept pets and love. Sometimes she'll even crawl up onto your shoulder and nuzzle into your neck. She will often flop over on the floor for some pets which quickly turns into playtime. Whether she's chasing your fingers or a toy, or hanging out in a box, she's just happy to be alive. She is a feisty little lady who loves affection, playtime, and basking in the sun during naptime. Any if any treats are brought out, she is front and centre!

Chikara gets along with all cats and children, and doesn't have a mind for drama. She'd rather take it easy and be adorable. She must go to a home who will give her all the love she deserves and more. Her new family must also be understanding and compassionate of any triggers she may have.
