Purdy is a feral cat from Coaldale who was being sheltered and fed by someone nearby. Purdy was pregnant when she came to LCCR and was put in to foster so she had a safe place to have her babies. Once her babies grew up a bit, Purdy came back to LCCR to continue her developing her social skills with humans and other kitties.
Purdy is very nervous but sweet. Her foster spent some time teaching her how to start getting comfortable with human contact by using a touch stick and that helped her start learning to trust. She very much prefers wet food and likes to ignore her dry food. She would be a great addition to a quiet home where she can continue to get comfortable with humans.
