BRAMBLE

Bramble came to LCCR in October 2023 with his buddy Boss - both feral, terrified and in dire need of medical attention. Unfortunately Boss passed on from cancer shortly after arrival and Bramble was left to navigate his scary new world without the support of his friend. He was very scared and did not allow humans near...he was always finding a cubby or hole to hide in, in solitude, and had no interest in engaging with the other LCCR kitties.

Bramble has made great strides over his time at LCCR. He is now a calm and confident cat who typically likes to be on his own. He absolutely loves the outdoors and will hang out in the catio even when it's raining or too cold for the other cats. He has recently been leaning in for full on pet sessions with our LCCR volunteers. He loves to play with toys, especially little crinkly balls that make noise.

Bramble is estimated to be around 7 years old and would do best in a quiet family that does not place expectations on a timeline for him to get comfortable with them. He needs a family who will offer consistent, gentle encouragement and will allow him to integrate into their home at his own speed. He needs a family willing to experience the magic of a shy, hesitant, formerly feral kitty as he transforms into his true potential of a loving and possibly snuggly cat. He is so close!!

He is good with other cats - non confrontational and non territorial. He will do great in a home with other relaxed older cats or as an only kitty. He may do well with a relaxed older dog who will respect his boundaries.

An absolute bonus for Bramble would be access to a catio, a screened in porch or at least a spot at a window with a screen so he can enjoy his absolute favorite activity, smelling the great outdoors and hearing the birds from a place of safety.
